Development of the Nurse Educator: This course focuses on the development of the nursing educator as an advanced practice nurse. Using case studies, development of a literature review, and discussions, students will synthesize content related to issues and trends in advanced nursing practice, ethical/legal topics, student diversity, teaching in the classroom and clinical settings, and faculty role development. Prerequisites: NURS 500 and NURS 502, All with a minimum grade of B. Restrictions: Nursing Education majors only (3:3,0) Restricted to students enrolled in the following Major: Nursing Education
