In this PhD course, students examine how mixed research methods can enrich their research programs in education; and apply this knowledge to their own research interests. Students learn how mixed methods transcend the two dominant education traditions (qualitative and quantitative), and learn through developing their own proposal how adopting mixed methods can produce broader and more valid knowledge claims.
