Take your class online with SUNY
You will learn the same curriculum as our on-campus students
Students from the UB Buffalo campus and UB SIM campus will interact together in a global virtual team setting. Students will partake in virtual visits to socially minded organizations, as well as have several networking opportunities with alumni and leaders. Working in teams, students will complete a project which will address a significant issue in the local community, while also participating in cultural activities, such as cooking, dancing and more. Students will gain knowledge and skills needed to work in virtual teams including virtual and intercultural communication skills, navigating time zones and planning/coordinating sessions with team members. With this virtual experience, students will develop their global and diversity mindset from anywhere in the world. There is a fee associated with this class.
