This course will examine various issues and perspectives as they relate to how the brain processes music, and a discussion of a music conditions that may occur as a result of traumatic brain injury. The latest research in brain/music will be discussed and analyzed. Part of our studies will include a look at the anatomical and physiological elements of music processes and the function of related areas of the brain. This course is appropriate for anyone who is involved in the fields of education, music, psychology, or medicine or anyone with interest in music.
