This online course is designed to promote an in depth understanding of the role of macronutrients in human health and nutrition. The digestion, absorption and metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats and the relationship of energy metabolism will be extensively studied. Prerequisite: Admission to program codes HFNMZ, HFPMS or HFPZM or HFN 507.
