History 112 is a survey of the major social, economic, political, cultural and intellectual developments that have shaped Western Civilization from the Renaissance and Reformation through 19th Century. This course will examine such topics as the interplay between politics and religion, the Enlightenment, the French Revolution, and the emergence of nationalism as a major force that shapes the 20th century. Prerequisite: None 3 cr. 3 Lec.
