PSY 220 examines theories and research related to child development from the prenatal period through adolescence. Topics will include: physical development; cognitive development; psychological, social, and emotional development; schooling and development; adult/child interaction; methods of research and assessment; and multicultural and current issues in child and adolescent development. (Not open to students with credit in PSY 233- Lifespan Development) Prerequisite: PSY 133- Introduction to Psychology. 3 cr. 3 Lec.
