Current and historical implications of the role of the baccalaureate professional nurse are explored consistent with nursing scope and standards of practice. Learners will examine nursing literature as the cornerstone of evidence-based practice in professional nursing. Emphasis is placed on effective written communication for nurses, principles of online learning, and active learning practices.
