A study of psychological growth and change over the course of the lifespan: prenatal development, infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age. Cultural differences that affect psychological development are considered, along with the effects of individual and group identity, socioeconomic status, and access to opportunities as they relate to psychological development.
