This course will cover the field of statistical design and analysis as it pertains to psychological research. The course will begin by covering foundation topics such as statistical notation, graphs and tables, and then progresses through descriptive statistics (i.e, central tendency and variability). Z-scores, probability, and hypothesis testing will follow. Finally, inferential statistical tests will be covered such as t-tests, analyses of variance, correlations, and the chi-square test.
