This introductory course covers the basic parameters of modern forensic science, including the fields related to human identification, death investigation, jurisprudence, and functions of the crime laboratory. The class will incorporate lectures with educational videos, in-class demonstrations and a web-building assignment to provide students with a basic understanding of the duties, ethical responsibilities and training required of each selected forensic science discipline.
