Communicating with Type is an introduction to the fundamentals of typography as a critical skill to graphic communication. The expressive potential of typography will be explored through its basic history and terminology, and a series of directed projects to gain knowledge in the area of typeface selection, legibility and styling to effectively design with type. Vector graphics literacy recommended.
