Historical astronomy, solar system dynamics, comparative planetology, observational techniques, solar, stellar, and galactic astronomy are the primary topics covered. This course is taken concurrently with or prior to Astronomy 115 (lab). Format: This course is an online course, with readings and online work daily. Grade is determined by five weekly examinations, online daily homework, and a compulsory research project.
