This course will provide a philosophical introduction to contemporary environmental issues. We will pair readings in moral philosophy with case studies and films to explore topics like climate change, environmental racism, sustainability, and individual vs. corporate responsibility. By the end of the course, students will be able to identify and engage with the moral features of today’s most pressing environmental concerns.
