Student research projects explore interrelationships of natural and cultural history in the Adirondack Park, with particular attention to the social, economic, and cultural factors that shape, and reshape land use over time. The Park as a place to constitutionally protect “forever wild” will be considered in the contexts of larger theoretical discussion about wilderness and protection of other American wild places. Cross listed with ENVR 310.
