You will learn the same curriculum as our on-campus students
"Survey of Human Anatomy" is a one-semester course
on the study of the structure and function of the
human body. Topics include homeostasis, basic
chemistry, cell structure, tissues, and the
following body systems: integumentary, skeletal,
muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular,
lymphatic, respiratory, urinary, digestive, and
reproductive. Upon satisfactory course completion,
the successful student will demonstrate an
understanding of the basic chemistry of the cell
and cellular structure, identify and describe
organ systems, and demonstrate an understanding of
the basic physiology of organ systems.
Prerequisites:
C+ or higher in HIT 120 or BIO 106, or
permission of instructor.
