This course enables students to develop a clear understanding of the aspects of grammar and to apply these to the writing process. Students study parts of speech and parts of the sentence and they become able to identify these in their writing and in the writing of others. Students demonstrate their knowledge of the subject by producing writings which make use of the grammar discussed and by editing various forms of writing so that the proof writing process is sharpened.
