This course explores concepts of qualitative and quantitative research and its use in conducting investigations of phenomenon in the social and behavioral sciences. The course will further provide the learner with an understanding of research methodologies and enable the learner to appropriately select statistical techniques to answer research questions. The learner will be introduced to the use of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Prerequisite: UNIV 300 (3:3,0) Restricted to students enrolled in the following Major: Nursing
