Training and Development for the Hospitality Industry: This course builds on the concepts learned in Hospitality Human Resources Management. Through the development of a compressive training and development plan, students will demonstrate proficiency in program design, selection and application of training tools and techniques, and effective assessment measures. Emphasis will be placed on understanding audience demographics, leveraging instructional technologies, and linking strong training programs to employee effectiveness, satisfaction, and retention. Prerequisites: HOSP 105 or HOSP 205 and HOSP 210, or permission of the instructor (3:3,0)
