This course will analyze healthcare delivery systems within a global context. Topics include the epidemiology of communicable and non-communicable diseases, epidemics, pandemics, and the burden of disease on global societies. The influence of multiple factors that impact global health will be critically examined. The role of interprofessional collaboration will be examined through the efforts used by individuals, groups, organizations, and countries to address global health disparities and social determinants of health among populations. Prerequisite: None. Restriction: Students must be enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing Education or Nursing Administration programs. (3:3,0) Restricted to students enrolled in the following Major: Nursing Administration
