Measurement and Evaluation in Nursing Education: In this course students will examine concepts of measurement and evaluation in teaching and learning for both academic and clinical practice settings. There will be focus on various evaluation methodologies for learners, courses and programs. The course has a strong focus on application and students will have the opportunity to study assessment and evaluation concepts for the development of tests, to use test analysis techniques, to practice grading writing assignments and to develop and use rubrics. Prerequisites: NURS 500, NURS 502, NURS 600, NURS 601, All with a minimum grade of B. Restrictions: Nursing Education majors only. (3:3,0) Restricted to students enrolled in the following Major: Nursing Education
