This pre-requisite course is designed to prepare the new RN-to-BSN student for the online educational environment. This course will provide the learner with an introduction to online learning and the learning management system. Topics will include an introduction to online education, general features of the learning platform, support services, communication, time management, and evaluation and assessment methods. Requirements of all nursing courses such as APA formatting and citation of sources will also be included. This course will be successfully completed by all newly admitted students to the 8BS program prior to beginning their first course in the program. Prerequisite: Acceptance into 8BS program (3:3,0) Restricted to students enrolled in the following Major: Nursing

- Contact the registrar’s office or enrollment office to register for the course. Make sure you have the course name and course ID when you register.

- If you plan to transfer credit for the course, make sure you have reviewed the course with the advisor at your current college to ensure the credits will transfer to your degree program.

- Once you register for the course, visit the campus bookstore to find the books and materials for the course. You will need the course ID to find the books.
