This course is intended to provide knowledge and understanding of the major theories and findings of the science of Educational Psychology. The course includes a consideration of such topics as: research methods in educational psychology; the cognitive, personal, social and moral development of students; the impact of student diversity on teaching and learning; the principles and processes of learning; motivational concerns in education; classroom management; techniques of teaching; and methods of assessing student learning. Students who have taken PSY 206 will not receive credit for EDU 206.
Prerequisites:
PSY 203.
