Students who have taken PSY 235 will not receive credit for EDU 235. This course examines the psychological, learning and behavioral characteristics of each category of exceptionality. Students will be introduced to special education laws and their implications for identification, delivery systems, transition plans, and placement procedures. Field experience in a special education setting is required.
Prerequisites: PSY 203 and PSY 212 or PSY 213.
