This course covers quality assessment and improvement tools related to health information management. Regulations surrounding utilization management and risk management are discussed. Organizational functions of health information management systems are also discussed. (2 lecture, 2 laboratory hours) Laboratory fee applies.
Prerequisites:
HIT 101 and HIT 154 (with a grade of C or better in each course) or permission of the Chairperson.
