This course explores corporate communication and marketing as closely related strategic areas of great concern to management and as an academic field of study. It also shows the increasingly close relationship between the reputation management function ofCorporate Communication and the Marketing of brand and customer experience, as both are heavily dependent on a rapidly changing media environment that is approached differently. This environment is also illuminated to provide students with basic news literacy. What was once a theoretical model is now the dashboard for increasingly automated (or ?programmatic?) corporate responses to the organizational stakeholders. This process is anticipated to have a tremendous impact across the Human Resource functions with attention to ethical issues and brand impact.
