This course is a convergence of skills gained in previous coursework, coupled with application of management tools to give the student an insight into the complexities of manufacturing strategies and problem solving. Topics will cover drawing interpretation, material acquisition, lead times, selection of processes for manufacturing, operational sequencing, elements of cost and price estimating, preservation, packaging and delivery. Offered Spring. A lab fee will be required.
