Students review basic algebra and learn about polynomials, radicals, and linear inequalities. They learn to graph and work with linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, radical, and exponential functions.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Solve equations.
2. Solve inequalities.
3. Simplify expressions using exponent rules.
4. Factor polynomial expressions.
5. Perform the basic arithmetic operations on polynomials.
6. Perform the basic arithmetic operations on rational expressions.
7. Perform the basic arithmetic operations on radicals.
8. Create graphs of algebraic functions.
