Sociology is the study of human groups. Topics include sociological theory and methods of research, culture and cultural variation across the world, social structure, crime and deviant behavior, social stratification and inequality, social justice, social institutions, social change and social movements. Students will develop an understanding of the intersection of personal biographies and sociological processes (the sociological imagination).. Fall, Winter (as needed), Spring, Summer (as needed).
