This is the last in a series of three courses that prepare students for generalist professional practice. In this course, content focuses on the development of macro generalist practice knowledge and skills, with emphasis upon advocacy, community change and professional development. This is presented within the context of social work values and ethics, and the inherent interdependence of micro, mezzo and macro social systems. Responsibilities of professional social workers with regard to enhancing competency through lifelong learning are examined.

SWK302, SWK401, 25 cumulative GPA
