This course is designed for students who want to learn the basics of Python with a focus on biomedical data analysis. The course covers the fundamentals of Python programming, such as data types, control structures, functions, object-oriented programming, and modules. The course introduces students to popular Python libraries, including but not limited to NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Scikit-Learn, are used for biomedical data manipulation, visualization, and analysis. By the end of the course, students will gain a strong foundation in Python programming for biomedical data analysis and will be able to apply skills learned from this course to real-world biomedical datasets.
