Catalog Course Description
Students learn to use productivity software application packages in the Windows operating environment. The applications covered include word processing, spreadsheets, presentation and database software. Prerequisite: Windows Literate.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Understand and implement Microsoft Word for electronically writing, formatting and storing .
• Create, edit and format business style documents
• Enhance page layout and design
2. Understand and implement Excel for spreadsheet program.
• Analyze and chart financial date
• Calculate data with formulas and functions
3. Understand and implement ACCESS for information management tool that helps you store information for reference, reporting, and analysis

• Create databases and define table relationships
• Maintain and query a database
• Create forms and reports
4. Understand and Implement Power Point for used to present data and information by using text, images, diagrams with animations and transitional effects.
• Create a presentation
• Add media and special effects to a presentation
