Leading in a Changing World examines what it means to lead and follow in today’s complex, diverse, and evolving world. We explore the process and approaches of leadership to guide and influence others to achieve a common goal. In this hands-on, minds-on course, we’ll look at dominant, research-informed leadership approaches, along with topics such as communication, culture, accessibility, diversity, inclusion, and human-centric workplaces and practices. You will identify, measure, and reflect on your own leadership characteristics and apply course concepts to case studies and to the design of training and development resources for both leaders and followers. Tools for learning will include generative artificial intelligence and digital media.
