You will earn the same diploma as our on-campus students

The Advanced Certificate in Forensic Health is a graduate-level program designed to deepen students’ understanding of interpersonal violence and its effects on victims and offenders. It is available to any current Binghamton University graduate student as an add-on to their existing program of study.

The forensic health certificate may be especially beneficial for professionals in fields such as nursing, public health, anthropology, public safety, medical examiners' or coroners' offices, and probation or parole agencies.

The curriculum covers topics such as victim trauma, offender behavior, and healthcare policy, allowing students to understand the complexities of the justice system and healthcare settings. The program focuses on providing evidence-based responses to different types of trauma and violence, combining academic theories with practical skills.
