You will earn the same diploma as our on-campus students

Students in the Criminal Justice - Police AAS from SUNY Canton acquire basic knowledge of law enforcement and corrections. Students gain an understanding of forensic investigations, acquire basic knowledge of criminal investigations, and obtain a basic knowledge of the criminal court system. 


The program offers three distinct learning tracts which allows the student the opportunity to tailor their coursework for future career aspirations:

1. Law Enforcement

2. Corrections

3. Generalist 


Students are provided a solid academic foundation that allows them to seamlessly transfer into the B. Tech in Criminal Investigation program at SUNY Canton. Students may also elect to continue their education in the B. Tech Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement Leadership program.

What's an associate degree?
An associate degree usually takes two years of study and prepares students for employment or transfer to a bachelor’s program at a four-year university.
