Students in  SUNY Canton's Liberal Arts and Sciences: General Studies A.S. develop a program consistent with a specific career objective or select a concentration from academic areas of humanities, social sciences or natural sciences. The degree introduces students to preparatory courses and careers in health care, teaching, law, business administration, management, human services, and additional fields. Additional subjects studied include natural and physical sciences, mathematics, technology, anthropology, sociology psychology, and history.
