Our teacher education transfer program introduces you to the historical, philosophical, and social foundations of education. You'll learn about teaching as an occupation, participate in structured school observations, and discuss key issues in education today (such as school safety, effective assessment strategies, and how to provide a quality education for all).
By the end of the program, you'll be ready to transfer to a four-year institution where you will take the next steps toward becoming a certified K-12 teacher.

- An associate degree usually takes two years of study and prepares students for employment or transfer to a bachelor’s program at a four-year university.
