This Advanced Certificate Program reflects state and national requirements for certification, as well as national trends. This provides the student with eligibility to apply for New York State Certification as well as national certification in their specialty. The Advanced Certificate Program clinical specialties include Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwifery, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Program credit requirements may vary depending upon program and previous graduate course level work.
