The Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Master's program at the Stony Brook School of Nursing prepares graduates to provide advanced practice nursing to pediatric patients with acute, critical, and/or complex chronic health conditions and to develop effective solutions for patient, population, and system needs.
The ability to function as an educator, leader, consultant, advocate, and change agent is essential to the development of clinical expertise in this role.
Graduates from this program will be eligible for certification in New York State and are also eligible for national certification in the program specialty.
