This program prepares individuals for employment in the fields of architectural, construction or engineering-construction. Curriculum content in the program covers, but is not limited to, principles of architectural/construction design, residential/commercial drafting, and related professional practices in the field. Graduates can work with architects, civil engineers, or related professionals. Subject matter also includes surveying, site planning, estimating and scheduling, and other technical skills needed for the construction industry. Accordingly, graduates can also assist contractors with project management, estimates and schedules, and on-site problem solving. Among others, potential job titles include the following: architectural drafter, architectural technician, engineering technician, cost estimator, construction project manager, and building product representative.
