Earn your advanced-certificate degree online

You will earn the same diploma as our on-campus students

This part-time program at SUNY Brockport is designed for nurse practitioners who are currently not a Family Nurse Practitioner, but wish to complete the coursework necessary to expand their scope of practice and establish eligibility for Family Nurse Practitioner licensure.

The CAS curriculum is individually tailored to address additional knowledge needed to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Once admitted, the program director will review your transcript and professional background to complete a personalized gap analysis, determining the required coursework needed to be eligible.
