The Special Education - Birth to Grade 12, M.S.Ed. is a 36-credit hour, fully online graduate program leading to professional New York state certification for the Special Education Students with Disabilities - All Grades certificate, which covers teaching students
with disabilities from PreK – Grade 12. Students will also be eligible for the Special Education, Birth–2nd Grade certificate.
For individuals who have completed a NYS registered teacher preparation program prior to enrollment and hold an initial and/or professional certificate, the program can be completed in three semesters as a full-time student with one winter or summer course. Our program focuses on developing comprehensive knowledge, understanding, and skills for teaching students with disabilities who are culturally and linguistically diverse.
