An integrated study of the biology of microorganisms and how their existence impacts other living things. Classic and advanced microbiology techniques are used in the laboratory to study bacterial cellular morphology, metabolism, growth, genetics, ecology, and control. Additional time beyond the scheduled lab period will be required. [Prerequisites: BIO 103 with a C or better or equivalent and CHM 103 with a C or better or equivalent]
