This is an introductory course designed to familiarize the student with the use of a structured programming language and the microcomputer system. A structured approach to problem solving and the development of algorithms will be presented and applied to the writing of computer programs. This course is designed for those with little or no experience with computer programming. Math 133 is preferred as a prerequisite as opposed to MTH 125. Prerequisite: Successful completion of MTH 125- Intermediate Algebra or MTH 133- Technical Math 1 or MTH 155- Algebra, Functions and Modeling and above. 3 cr. 2 Lec. 2 Lab.
Prerequisites: MTH 125 or MAT 117 or MTH 133 or MTH 155 or MTH 165 or MTH 185 or MTH 221 or MTH 222
