This course focuses on an observational and descriptive study of the Earth in our solar system and of the Sun in the universe of stars and galaxies. It includes methods, instruments, problems of astronomy, and field and laboratory experience. Pre/corequisites: MTH 098- Fundamentals of Math Literacy or concurrent enrollment in MTH 095/125 combination courses or placement into MTH 125- Intermediate Algebra or higher and ENG 099- Basic Composition or placement into ENG 100- College Composition. 4 cr. 3 Lec. 3 Lab.

MTH 098 or MTH 125 or MTH 155 or MTH 185 or MTH 166 or MTH 174 or MTH 184 or MTH 221 or MTH 222 or MTH 241 or MTH 095 - and - MTH 125 - and - ENG 099 or ENG 100 or ENG 101
