This course focuses on an observational and descriptive study of the Earth in our solar system and of the Sun in the universe of stars and galaxies. It includes methods, instruments, problems of astronomy, and field and laboratory experience. Pre/corequisites: MTH 098- Fundamentals of Math Literacy or concurrent enrollment in MTH 095/125 combination courses or placement into MTH 125- Intermediate Algebra or higher and ENG 099- Basic Composition or placement into ENG 100- College Composition. 4 cr. 3 Lec. 3 Lab.
