This course introduces the dynamic nature of supply chain management for products and services and addresses the impact of the global economy on the supply chain management process. The course presents the resources and techniques needed to solve complex supply-chain problems. Preparing students to manage an integrated supply chain in a highly competitive global market is the focus of this course. Topics include: developing superior customer service strategy; controlling quality; and managing logistics, inventory, and information. Each student is required to prepare a formal Supply Chain Management
Plan. Prerequisite: BADM 249 or permission of the instructor
