This course covers the history of the U.S. labor movement and labor relations both in industry and in government. Current labor laws and practices are also discussed as part of the curriculum. In addition, sexual harassment awareness and prevention are covered along with the laws pertaining to sexual harassment in today's society. This course, along with the ECMN 135 Workplace Safety course provides the New York State Department of Labor Electrician and Electrical Maintenance Technician apprenticeship requirements. Offered Spring. A labA lab fee will be required.
