An introductory course on the grant writing process. Students will learn how information professionals can identify and pursue funding opportunities through foundations, professional associations, and governmental agencies. Students will be immersed in grant writing exercises, practice presenting a case for support, and engagement in peer review. Applicable for information professionals who plan to work in any type of information organization (e.g., public and school libraries, academic settings, industry, government, law firms, and non-profits).
