Develops problem-solving skills as students learn the fundamentals of algebra. Linear equations, quadratic equations, and linear systems will be solved. Linear and polynomial equations will be graphed. An emphasis will be placed on analyzing various types of graphs and using the basic tools of algebra and graphical analysis in meaningful applications. Does not fulfill degree or program requirements. Students must earn a C or higher to pass the course.
